Ranger was the pick son of the first mating of Kitty Catt to Jack the Bear. He was sold to a wonderful couple, Will and Ana from Russia, living in Seattle at the time. They had a cabin on several acres near Mount Baker and Will's mother dwelled there and Ranger was to be her companion and guardian and he did his job very very well. When we finally made our move to the west coast we made arrangements to visit Ranger and his family and were very pleased with what we saw. We asked permission to use him in our breeding program and of course they were thrilled at the thought.
About 1 year after our move we received a call that Will's mothers visa had not been renewed to stay in the USA. As opposed to putting the dog through the trauma of a long flight overseas and not knowing where Valentina would reside they felt the best thing was for Ranger to come back home to us. Ranger has never been shown as he was almost 4 years when he came back to us. He is OFA
Good and thyroid normal. He is 29" at the shoulder and 165 lbs but we are working on taking a few of those off. He is a very rich black and tan and has produced two litters to date. At a mere 10 months one of his daughters has already acheived multiple titles. Ranger loves everyone and is the "big boy" in the dog house.
